Module 7: Leadership and Teambuilding/ Formation

Module Overview

Leadership is not an attractive character – that can emerge out of appeal and the capacity to talk. Leadership is lifting an individual’s vision to higher sights, raising an individual’s exhibition to better quality, the structure of a character past its typical restrictions. This must be done through picking your staff well, knowing their Animal Protection Society Management characters and inspirations, and overseeing and driving them fittingly. A significant amount of artistry than a science! However, a significant number of the issues included are inspected beneath. The administration is an intricate cycle by which an individual impacts other to achieve a mission, assignment, or objective and coordinates the association. That makes it firmer and more intelligent. Group functional elements should be perceived to make the best utilization of groups in your association.

This module delves in leadership styles and essence of team building. This module is perfectly suited for all aspiring leaders, team leaders, managers, and the youth to learn or be equipped with basic of leadership lessons or knowledge.

In this Module, you will learn

  • Initiative styles and situational administration – By examining authority style, members can see its effect in the group and how the group may respond to you in various circumstances. Figuring out how to adjust their style and activities to become more ‘situational’ will empower agents to centre their initiative successfully. 
  • Group improvement issues – High-performing groups/people go through a few unmistakable stages. Remembering them will empower representatives to create “should do” techniques to build viability. 
  • Is it safe to say that you are a pioneer or an administrator? We will analyse the qualities of administration and the abilities essential to turn into a pioneer. Utilizing an interaction of self-examination agents will recognize their qualities and shortcomings to increment both camaraderie and profitability. 
  • Inspiration hypothesis and practice – We will inspect the speculations on individuals’ inspiration and show viable methods of persuading groups and people. 
  • Authority procedures – It is generally the little things that matter most to individuals. We will show extremely pragmatic systems and procedures that will expand authority abilities. 
  • Building a group for your venture or association/fire up-A group is ‘A gathering of individuals who share regular goals and who need to cooperate to accomplish them.’ Groups can ordinarily be found on the games field, in close associations or trade and industry; however, the ideas and thoughts can be applied any place. A gathering of individuals shares primary goals and need to cooperate to accomplish them. They should not be paid to cooperate. This course is intended to construct new and experienced administrators’ fitness and certainty in the craftsmanship and abilities of ‘group the board.’

Emmanuel Addo
Founder

Emmanuel Addo is the founder of the Young Global Leaders Network, an international non-governmental organization registered in six (6) countries namely, Ghana, United Kingdom, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Democratic Republic of Congo, and South Sudan and has a membership strength of over 15,000 young black professionals, students, graduates, and aspiring leaders.

The organization also operates in 25 other African countries. Emmanuel also doubles as the chief convener and founder of the Young African Leaders Summit, one of the largest continental youth summits in Africa.  

Currently works at Kingston University as a Business Engagement Team Member in their Partnerships and Engagement Department. 

He characterizes energy, integrity, result-oriented, and ground-breaking service in each detail of strategic management, change management, stakeholder management, and leadership acquaintances.
Emmanuel owns a core background in Sociology and Psychology from the University of Ghana.

Leveraging his experience as a youth activist and a dynamic young man, Emmanuel founded the Young Global Leaders Network, a youth organization that comprises young diplomats, young politicians, and aspiring politicians, business/entrepreneurial business leaders with the aim of championing a mutual agenda for the African youth and promoting youth participation in governance as well as promoting entrepreneurial culture.
Emmanuel nurtures an environment of teamwork and has expertise in data collection and analysis as well as both quantitative and qualitative methods.

Emmanuel worked as an Associate Lecturer at the London College of Advanced Management where he delivered a wide range of business management courses that involved principles of marketing, leadership, operation management, and research methods. Emmanuel has always maintained high teaching and learning standards to ensure that his students’ stand out in academic achievements and successful progression. As a stout believer and passionate key player in volunteering; Emmanuel creates quality time to giving back gladly to his community what he has learned and to educate individuals with free consultancy on career development. He is a leader anyone would love to look up to and with great integrity, commitment, and passion to make the world a better place.
Emmanuel worked as Qualifications Manager at the Open University in the UK.

Emmanuel is also the founder of Kickstart Innovation Hub Ltd, the entrepreneurial hub of Young Global Leaders Network.
