Ghana to Host Young African Leaders Summit 2026: Uniting a Continent of Changemakers
The Young African Leaders Summit (YALS) returns in 2026 with even greater ambition and vision, as it brings together hundreds of Africa’s most promising young leaders, innovators, and changemakers to Accra, Ghana – the heart of Pan-African leadership.
Set to take place in [Insert month], 2026, the summit will convene young delegates from over 40 African countries and the diaspora, representing diverse sectors including governance, business, technology, education, media, and civil society. Organised by the Young Global Leaders Network (YGLN), this fourth edition of YALS is expected to be the most impactful yet, championing the theme:
“Reimagining Africa: Youth Leadership for Sustainable Transformation.”
Over three days, delegates will engage in dynamic sessions, keynote addresses, panel discussions, policy dialogues, and networking forums. The summit will also feature the Model African Union, innovation showcases, and the prestigious YAL Achievers Awards honouring exceptional African youth leaders.
