The Young Global Leaders Network now holds Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), a recognition granted in 2025.
This status allows YGLN to bring youth perspectives from Africa, Asia and Europe into key UN processes. The Network can nominate delegates to sessions such as the Commission on the Status of Women, submit written inputs and collaborate more closely with UN agencies and permanent missions.
For our members, this opens meaningful opportunities to attend UN meetings, contribute to global policy conversations and build connections with institutions that shape international development and governance.
